Durante el presente curso académico, nuestros alumnos de 5º y 6º de Primaria están disfrutando de “The Magazine”, una nueva plataforma digital para el aprendizaje del inglés. Nos encontramos ante un recurso lúdico y educativo para que nuestros estudiantes desarrollen diferentes destrezas de una manera amena y divertida, todo ello mediante artículos con temas de actualidad, redactados y narrados por colaboradores de más de 50 países en los que el inglés es lengua oficial o cooficial. Se incluyen además vídeos y distintos concursos.
Añadamos a todo lo anterior que el pasado mes de noviembre, nuestro alumno de 6º de Primaria Alexander Ikechukwu Chukwuebuka consiguió el 3er premio en el Writing Contest. Aquí dejamos el texto para que lo podáis apreciar. Congratulations, Alex!
Hello, my name is Alex. Today I´m going to talk about my family.
My family is from Nigeria. My father’s name is Fabian and my mother is Jane. My father lived in Lagos, the capital of Nigeria, and my mother in Enugu, a town of Nigeria. One of the traditions of this country is chili pepper. I invite you to taste it and if you taste it, eat 5 without drinking milk or water.
Now I´m going to tell some interesting things about my family: my grandmother is 62 years, if you give 5 chili peppers to my dad or mum, they will not complain, and now I´m in 6th grade. I am 11 years old and 2 days ago, it was my birthday. They gave me a pair of new boots and a new ball of Real Madrid, the best team in the world. I also have a sister called Rachel and a brother called Shawn.
